Silver

​

Rinse silver with hot soapy water and dry with a clean cloth. Once dry, use the cleaning cloth provided to buff jewellery and will assist in removal of existing tarnish. Alternatively use a household silver cleaner or dip

​

For a deep clean Lunaflux recommends making an eco friendly home made silver dip, made from household ingredients (do not use method with set stone jewellery):

 

1. Line a bowl with tin foil

2. Place silver into bowl and sprinkle over baking soda

3. Gently pour boiling water over jewellery until covered

4. Leave for 10 minutes. Rinse and dry.

For any satin finish/brushed surfaces, items will burnish with wear. Simply use a dry scotchbrite pad to clean/remove any burnished areas, please note that this will mattify the finish.

Brass

​

Brass will develop a natural patina over time. Brass can be polished using a brass cleaner such as Brasso or the cleaning cloth provided.

 

It is recommended that brass is never left wet. To avoid water marks and tarnishing, simply dry with a clean cloth.
